These terms cover hosting, domain registration referrals, and web design services provided by HostSNAP ("we," "us") to you ("you," "the customer"). By ordering or using our services, you agree to them.
HostSNAP provides shared and reseller web hosting on cPanel and WHM, including free SSL certificates, daily backups, and email hosting on applicable plans. We do not provide domain registration directly; see Section 4. We also provide optional web design and ongoing site care services described on our Web Design page.
Hosting plans are billed monthly in advance by PayPal or by e-transfer / bank transfer confirmed manually by our team. There are no long-term contracts; you may cancel at any time and will not be billed for the following month. Design project fees are flat-fee and due as agreed before work begins, typically half up front and half at launch, confirmed by email on a per-project basis.
HostSNAP is not an ICANN-accredited domain registrar. When you register a domain through the link on our Domain Names page, you are registering it directly with RegistryRocket under our reseller account, and that registration is governed by RegistryRocket's own terms, pricing, and privacy practices, not ours. We are not a party to that registration contract.
Design packages include the number of revision rounds stated on our Web Design page. Additional revisions, pages, or features beyond the agreed scope are quoted and billed separately. You are responsible for providing core content (text, images, logos) unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
You agree not to use our hosting for illegal content, to send spam, to knowingly host malware, or to abuse shared server resources in a way that affects other customers. We'll contact you first about any issue where that's possible before taking action.
We run nightly backups of hosting accounts and retain 7 days of history, and restores are provided free of charge on request. Backups are a safety net, not a substitute for keeping your own copies of anything irreplaceable.
You may cancel hosting at any time by emailing support@hostsnap.net. We will confirm a final date and help you export your files and email before the account is removed. There are no cancellation fees.
We aim for reliable service and rent space in a Tier III colocation facility, but we do not guarantee a specific uptime percentage or offer service-level-agreement credits. Our actual average uptime for the prior year is posted on our About page.
To the extent permitted by law, HostSNAP's liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost business or lost data beyond what our backup policy covers.
We may update these terms as our services change. We'll post updates here; continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
